Jesus said… In this life you will have trouble—but be of good cheer I have overcome the world!
What a comforting thought—He overcomes the world, the troubles and the sin!
But we do have troubles, trials, and temptation that are constantly knocking at our doors.
But I’ve learned to take them directly to the throne room of God. Lay them down and walk away free, still and at peace.
We in this life give the enemy legal rights when we are not obedient to the things of God. He gets free access when we do not pay our debt, when we go where we know we’re not supposed to go, or do what were not supposed to do, and read what we’re not supposed to read. Our ear gates and eye gates are forever being bombarded with darkness–lies–and trying to be deceived into thinking we are not who God says we are!
Everyone is made and designed to do GREAT things for God. Everyone was created for a purpose beyond themselves and to touch lives in a greater way. Jesus said, we will do the same things He did!
Are you doing that?
Are you seeing lives changed? Are you seeing demons flee? Are you seeing lives being made whole through the Name above all names? If not, I encourage you today… Move… touch someone’s life with a smile, a touch, a prayer or maybe step way out of your comfort zone and radically change their life!! We live in such a broken world, seeing hurting people every day.
Everyday God gives me more and more revelation into seeing broken souls, and seeing how the enemy has lied to those who have been abused, broken and have gotten caught in sexual immorality. They are believing they can’t be whole, they can’t be clean… But let me tell you CAN! Spend time in God’s Word, let the Holy Spirt reveal to you and see how the enemy has taken hold of your soul, how he has been harassing and leading you places you don’t want to go.
Be of good cheer… There is freedom in His blood, there is freedom when you bring light to the dark places in your soul. There is total freedom and peace when you call out for help. How do I know? I did just that!
